This is a key, multi-faceted role, within the business where the development of new opportunities is as important as retention and management of existing ones. The ideal candidate will focus on solutions, collaboration and exploring the boundaries of technology whilst presenting inspiring solutions to a clients' challenges. You will be responsible for the end-to-end sales cycle, including lead generation and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a clear track record of achieving sales targets. Leading personal drivers will be self-motivation, organisation, great collaboration skills, commercial sensibility and an entrepreneurial streak. 

A background in the live events sector and more recently, virtual and hybrid solutions will be imperative for the successful manner in which the candidate is required to hit the ground running in this fast-paced environment, reacting quickly and undertaking tasks in an efficient manner. Ideally working in a similar role with a significant number of client contacts. 

A cool headed approach, high pressure tolerance and passion are key characteristics of the post holder. Along with a proactive mindset and highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deliverables and stakeholders simultaneously towards deadlines. Self-motivation, organisation and a willingness to work hard for a team in achieving an end goal are essential. 

Main Responsibilities:

• Keep abreast of changes in AV Technology to develop innovative and new ideas to clients as the business strives to be ahead of competitors in the arena in which it operates
• The driving force behind new sales lead generation and ongoing client retention/account management of existing and new customers
• Creating a new business development plan
• Being the first point of contact for clients, taking a clear and detailed brief, and understanding and communicating these clearly to the technical team
• ‍Review and map the events market, potential opportunities and key decision makers
• Communicate the business credentials and develop effective dialogues with clients
• Generating annual sales revenues to meet strategic targets set in conjunction with the Executive Leadership team
• Build and develop new contacts and pipeline opportunities
• Developing RFP’s, proposals and pitching for business
• Develop agreed marketing credentials and support the social media campaign on business promotion
• Feeding back onsales potential and sales status updates of new business to the Executive Leadership team and other colleagues on an ongoing basis and upon request
• Communicate, liaise and negotiate both internally and externally to facilitate the development of profitable and sustainable business
• Develop and continually maintain expert knowledge of the industry and our product offerings to maximise all sales opportunities, e.g. client sales history, programming and business developments; platform developments; advertising market developments etc
• Attend weekly team meetings and report on sales activity
• Close working with the Directors and Managers of the business in order to generate profitable business growth
• At all times to act as an excellent ambassador and professional role model for us and our product range with both senior internal and external audiences, ensuring full control of the sales and negotiation agendas in each market. Managing deals from beginning to end.
  
• Assisting with other ad-hoc duties as and when required.
