Elevator audio-visual display solution elev8 will deliver unique journeys

elev8 is an audio-visual display solution delivered within an elevator, which offers a fully immersive, memorable experience to a captive audience. It can deliver a wide range of dedicated content to lift passengers, including full 3D worlds, 2D animation, landscapes, audio experiences and video or static images.
FIX8Group have installed an elev8 experience at the St James Quarter, Edinburgh. St James Quarter is a new retail-led, lifestyle district that fully integrates into and enhances Edinburgh’s City Centre providing a vibrant destination for locals and visitors to live, shop, eat, sleep and play. FIX8Group collaborated closely with Nuveen , the investors for the project, along with Gardiner Theobald LLP, who were appointed as an independent construction and property consultancy.

This was despite working for the 1st time with very heavily regulated passenger lift installers and in the middle of the Covid Pandemic! Every hurdle and problem was overcome without fuss. The solution for St James Quarter has been designed with complete flexibility, so that experiences can be tailored to fit the client’s communication needs and content can be easily changed, updated or maintained centrally as often as required.
